-Steering rack bushings on a TT are infinitely easier with engine out. -High pressure line, infinitely easier with engine out -Engine harness, its 110% worth the cost. I hated that I didn't do mine last year after the fact. So many electrical issues and broken connectors. -I'd replace all hoses you can get to with silicone. -I'd definitely replace the small rubber coolant hose that runs on the back of the engine that is basically impossible to get to without at least pulling tranny.-I'd grab new engine mounts, BDE worked well. -I'd consider deleting the stock power steering return hard line mess and running high pressure hose directly from reservoir to return. -You can delete more of the carbon canister mess easily with it out. One more common point of failure to eliminate. -Rear main seal on the engine likes to leak, now is an easy time to tackle it. -Knock sensor!! If you've had a bad sensor and relocated or bypassed it, now is the time to get a new one back in the proper place. I'd also: -Grab tons of brake cleaner, clean up your bay. -Grab high temp spray paint to touch up bay.
